After a lackluster performance in 2016, the global economy is projected to pick up pace in 2017 and 2018, especially in emerging market and developing economies. However, there is a wide dispersion of possible outcomes around the projections. After Brexit
and the election of President Trump, will there be more “surprises”? Will the global economic landscape shift?
In this presentation, our guest speaker will discuss the major impacts and risks in the region. Among other subjects she will address the following:
-Is world economic recovery merely a New Year’s wish?
-Is there any implication for global trade activities?
-What are the risks and opportunities for Asia, and Taiwan in particular?
-Highlights of Coface’s China Corporate Payment Survey 2016.
