In the most recent EUROVIEW (Issue 150) from page 19 to 21 reported the ECCT Low Carbon Initiative (LCI) contribution towards making the 2013 APCS a tremendous success.  By hosting a discussion panel "Low Carbon City Initiatives," five LCI members from Bosch, Ford Lio Ho, Siemens, STMicroelectronics, and TUV Rheinland presented intelligent solutions highlighting energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, green city, and smart grid applications.

The 2013 APCS, which took place between the 9 to 11 September, attracted more than 1,850 participants from 130 cities and 36 countries, marking the highest number of participants in APCS history. Internationally renowned speakers, including former Mayor of London Ken Livingstone and HTC Chairperson Cher Wang, shared their vision on how to reshape the urbanomics of cities. During this year's business matching, 27 MOUs were signed which are expected to generate over NT$ 2.51 billion (USD 84 M) for involved businesses.
