The ECCT's Low Carbon Initiative co-hosted the 2018 Smart Green Building Forum in conjunction with the Taipei City Government, PWC Taiwan, the European Union Centre in Taiwan (EUTW) and National Applied Research Labs. At the event opening remarks were made by guests of honour representing the hosts after which speakers gave presentations on topics related to green buildings. Dr Lin Jou-min, Commissioner of the Taipei City Government's Department of Urban Development gave a presentation about Taipei's public housing projects to be built in accordance with standards set to meet ecology, energy saving, waste reduction and health requirements. In addition speakers from Siemens, Schneider Electric, the German Institute, National Taiwan University and Delta spoke about some of their solutions for smart green buildings. Full story to follow.
