The ECCT's Low Carbon Initiative (LCI) is co-organising the second edition of 2019 Circular Economy Taiwan Expo (CE Taiwan) together with the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). For the first time, CE Taiwan will run in tandem with the Taiwan International Water Week (TIWW), making it the most comprehensive B2B international “trade show” focusing on green economy/environmental protection and circular economy in Taiwan.

During the expo, the Circular Economy Forum will take place on the first day of the expo on 26th September, featuring leading global speakers including representatives from LCI members: Carrefour 家樂福, Covestro 科思創, IKEA 宜家家居, Scania 永德福汽車, and also government officials from the MOEA’s Industrial Development Bureau (IDB) and the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA), to share best practices on transforming the linear global supply chain into a circular economy.

由外貿協會主辦、歐洲在臺商務協會低碳倡議行動協辦之第二屆「2019年台灣國際循環經濟展」(2019 Circular Economy Taiwan)，將於 9月26日至28日在台北世貿一館舉辦。本屆除了循環能源、循環設備外，將擴大展出循環經濟之跨產業應用，如循環農業、循環塑膠、循環設計、循環建築等概念，邀請落實循環經濟有成之領先企業參與，展示更多創新商業模式、綠能環保技術、產品及解決方案。

另將於展覽第一日，舉辦為國際循環經濟產業高峰會，將邀請國內外產官學代表，包括經濟部工業局、環保署、家樂福 Carrefour、科思創 Covestro、宜家家居 IKEA、永德福汽車 Scania等重量級貴賓，就廢棄物永續回收、綠色供應鏈、再生能源運用、循環物流等跨產業之多元議題，分享如何從產業供應鏈走入循環經濟，預期將藉由展覽、主題論壇及採購洽談會三大主軸，激盪深度交流及開發潛在商機。
