The ECCT's Low Carbon Initiative (LCI) and National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) are organising the 2022 ECCT-NCKU-Tainan Low Carbon City Conference for the ninth consecutive year supported by Tainan City Government.

Opening by Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che on Tainan's Net Zero transition roadmap, the theme of this year's conference is “Energy saving & green buildings for sustainable cities” featuring presentations by ECCT members from Merck, Atlas Copco, NCKU, Schneider Electric, RCI Engineering, and Signify on decreasing carbon emissions and enhancing energy efficiency and conducting carbon verification and certification in buildings and industries. A panel discussion moderated by Dr Jenny Su (Huey-Jen), President of NCKU, will feature the speakers.

The conference will also serve as the forum to renew an MOU among the ECCT, NCKU, and the Tainan City Government to continue their cooperation on sustainable city development.

The 2022 Tainan Low Carbon City Conference on 29 Nov. is a physical event taking place at the NCKU Future Hall, offering CH/EN bilingual translation service with no extra charge.  To sign up the event, please go to: ECCT event website.
