We are thrilled to share the results of the ECCT’s recent beach cleaning event, held in collaboration with the Taipei European School (TES, 財團法人台北歐洲學校). 246 ECCT members, staff and TES students participated. Amongst the attendees, we were honoured to be joined by Mr Hsieh Chih-Ming, Secretary of the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Headquarters.

Our beach cleaning initiative was a tremendous success and an essential step towards combating critical environmental issues. To take action to contribute to a cleaner Taiwan and a healthier environment for all, our community rallied to join in this year’s beach cleaning event. This meaningful initiative netted a whopping total of over half a ton, 534.3 kilograms to be exact, of trash cleaned up from the Linshabi beach, something that could not have been accomplished without the effort of everyone who joined.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who participated with us. Together, we made a meaningful difference in preserving Taiwan’s beautiful coastline.
