2024 Standards Summit
The ECCT was a co-organiser of the 2024 BSI Digital Trust Standards Summit, arranged by the British Standards Institution (BSI). The full day summit was divided into two sessions: the Digital Trust Standards Summit in the morning and the Sustainable Development Standards Summit in the afternoon. ECCT members gave presentations in both sessions.
Huang Yen-Nun, Minister of the Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA) and Peng Chi-ming, Minister of Environment shared the latest progress in Taiwan's digital trust and net zero policies. Also, Jessica Henry, Economic Director of the British Office in Taipei, Peter Pu, the Managing Director, NE Asia Region of BSI, and ECCT Chairman Giuseppe Izzo made remarks.
This was followed by presentations by Shalom Chan, Chief Sustainability Officer of L’Oreal and Tseng Ken-ying, Attorneys-at-Law of Lee and Li on topics related to deepening sustainable governance and digital trust. The event attracted 1,000 attendees interested in sustainability and digital transformation.
