Automotive committee breakthrough on scrappage programme for old trucks

The Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) officially announced a subsidy scheme, effective on 16 August, for scrapping Euro I and Euro II heavy duty commercial diesel vehicles. The ECCT welcomes and supports this initiative, which is in line with the proposal made by the Automotive committee in its 2017 position paper.
