The ECCT's Low Carbon Initiative (LCI) recently organized a meeting with Taipei City Hospital, bringing together a delegation of industry leaders, including representatives from ABB, Green Flash, RCI Engineering, Signify, and Zuellig Pharma. A total of 12 representatives from Taipei City Hospital participated in the discussions, which focused on integrating sustainable solutions and technologies into hospital operations.
During the meeting, ABB introduced their high-efficiency motors for HVAC systems, aimed at reducing energy consumption. Green Flash highlighted the benefits of their HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) product as a sustainable transition fuel. RCI Engineering shared how their expertise in various sectors, including hospitals and commercial buildings, can drive sustainable design. Signify showcased its cutting-edge lighting solutions and its unique "lease for sale" service model, while Zuellig Pharma demonstrated its deep understanding of the healthcare industry by proposing supply chain improvements. These exchanges set the stage for future collaboration and underscored a mutual commitment to sustainability in healthcare.
