An ECCT delegation of members representing the chamber’s financial services committees and led by CEO Freddie Höglund visited the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC). At the meeting, Chairperson Dr Peng Jin-Lung and colleagues gave an update on recent developments and shared their policy vision for Taiwan's financial industry with the ECCT delegation. Both sides also exchanged views on how to transform Taiwan into an Asian asset management regional hub. At the conclusion of the meeting, delegates undertook to engage in regular discussions with the FSC in the future aimed at making further improvements to the regulatory environment that would attract more foreign financial institutions to participate in the local market and create opportunities for financial development.
