Taoyuan City and ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability had launched the 2020-2021 EcoLogistics Community Program in Taoyuan. Served as the Chair of the global community, Taoyuan is keen to localize the Urban Logistics and Freights Development in Taiwan and started the Chair Office to be the main local executive office which carries out the comprehensive action plans, capacity building, and events in Taoyuan.

On August 11, 2020, Taoyuan City and ICLEI will co-host the 2nd Capacity Building Event of “Eco-Logistics Training Workshop-Future Logistics for Cities: Green, Smart and Sharing” at COZZI Blu Taoyuan. The event aims to be open for the “Innovation Exchange Workshop" for companies and innovative teams from a freight fleet, equipment and facilities, smart services, packaging, recycling processing and other logistics fields, through a relaxed and lively pechakucha rhythm, focusing on the three "green", "smart" and "sharing" themes, sharing experience or ideas about future urban logistics solutions or business models.
