The ECCT’s Low Carbon Initiative (LCI) arranged a visit to the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) where they met with Deputy Minister Tseng Wen-sheng (經濟部次長曾文生) and other senior MOEA officials. The delegation was led by ECCT CEO Freddie Höglund. It also included representatives from companies in the wind energy industry. Items on the agenda included an update on offshore wind market update, new developments in floating wind technologies, and Critical element needed for localization plan to be realized on time such as administrative contract and a briefing on the LCI’s forthcoming RE100 report.

Representatives from the following companies participated in the meeting: Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, Corio, Vestas, TotalEnergies, RWE, Skyborn Renewables, Blue Float and Iberdrola.
