As cloud-based services continue to grow, a large array of new applications is emerging that cover many areas within the fields of health, telematics, electric vehicles and intelligent transportation systems. Among cloud based services, the emergence of the Internet of Things (IoT) is a growing realm for increased efficiency in many human activities. New forms of services are deployed to these smart and connected systems by integrated software applications, through the development of cloud computing infrastructures.

The Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) market is experiencing rapid developments and the global installed base of GNSS devices has surpassed 2 billon units, despite the economic slowdown. Mindful of recent milestones and the fact that multi-constellation GNSS is becoming a reality, the prospects for the future are highly promising.

This year's 2015 GNSS.asia Seminar will focus on Smart X: When GNSS meets Internet of Things to discuss all the possibilities for "smart" applications and services. The half-day event will bring together key industrial and institutional GNSS players from the EU and Taiwan. The seminar offers a great platform to gather insights on the current opportunities for GNSS downstream cooperation and present up-to-date market information on various application domains, as well as offer the opportunity for direct B2B matchmaking.
