Hey Golfers, it's time to start flexing muscles and practicing for another epic battle on the golf course, the highlight of Taipei's annual social golfing calendar, the 2017 ECCT-ICRT International Charity Golf Cup. We are sending the word out early to allow enough time to attract participants and sponsors. For those new to Taiwan, this popular annual event provides a perfect opportunity to show off your golfing skills and support a good cause at the same time.

2017 is the 14^th consecutive year that the European Chamber of Commerce Taiwan (ECCT) and International Community Radio Taipei (ICRT) have teamed up to organize the annual International Charity Golf Cup. The event will be returning once again to the same venue as last year's and the original Charity Golf Cup and will be played on a Friday morning. Participants will be competing in teams of four, with each team representing a company, an organization or a country. There will be some fantastic prizes for best team score, closest to the pins and longest drives. As a maximum of 20 teams will be admitted to the tournament, members are invited to book places for their teams as soon as possible. If you don't have a team, don't worry, you can also sign up as an individual and we will place you in a team.

Proceeds of the tournament (from sponsors and a portion of players' fees) will be going to the Community Services Center (CSC), the non-profit foundation that offers counseling, information and support services to the entire international community in Taiwan. ICRT, a fixture of Taiwan's international community, will be running a series of promotions in the lead-up to and on the day of the event, including live reports from the course. Immediately following the tournament, an awards ceremony lunch will be held at the club, including drinks, lunch and lots of prizes. Once again the tournament will be using a handicapping system to level the playing field for players, regardless of skill levels. Sign up your family, friends and colleagues for this great event.
