Risk & opportunity: An overview of CSR performance in Taiwan

CSROne, the largest sustainability report platform in Taiwan, has just completed an analysis of CSR reporting trends in Taiwan. After analyzing 394 companies, the company has discovered that the number of published reports has risen by over 200%, indicating the growing importance of CSR reporting for Taiwan businesses.

At this special event, the speaker will offer some insights on CSR trends in Taiwan. Among other subjects, she will share an overview of key findings of the latest CSROne analysis, including different risk focuses globally and in Taiwan and factors such as climate change and financial risks. She will also elaborate on the focus of food industry companies on product and service labeling and recent economic, environmental and social trends.

About the speaker
Gennie Yen is the co-founder and President of Veda International Corporation and founder of the CSROneReporting platform. She is often invited as a guest lecturer to universities and enterprises to speak about public relations and CSR subjects. She is also very active in community services and voluntarily serves on the boards of directors of the following organizations: the Taiwan International PR Association, the Taiwan Green Collar Association and the National Women Association (NCW). She is also an English docent of the National Palace Museum. She was a biology major at Fu Jen University and completed the first-ever Finland Helsinki University's eMBA programme (2004-2005) in Taiwan.
