Venue: Howard Plaza Hotel, Lily Hall (B2F) / 台北福華大飯店 /百合廳 (B2樓)
Address: 160, Ren Ai Road, Sec. 3, Taipei, Taiwan 10657, R.O.C/
106台北市大安區仁愛路三段160號 MAPWith expanding global trade flows and the growth of online retail, logistics is becoming an increasingly important part of business operations. Companies can realise significant productivity boosts and cost savings from optimising their supply chains. While in the past warehouses were mainly places to store products, innovative businesses now take a more holistic approach and align their warehouses with their brand image and social/environmental responsibility targets. In Taiwan, multinational companies have traditionally had difficulties finding suitable warehousing facilities. Taiwan's geography and high density makes it difficult to develop large and efficient warehouses and logistics property competes for land with manufacturing facilities, which have long been the preferred use of land. As a result, a large majority of existing warehouses are of inadequate size, poor quality or even illegal. Thus, strong opportunities exist to enhance the quality of Taiwan's warehouse stock and to align it with global standards. In his presentation, our guest speaker will draw on his extensive experience in logistics, construction, design, engineering and management to give advice on how to find and secure the best quality and affordable logistics property in Taiwan.
