As labour shortages have become a persistent challenge in Taiwan, how best to attract, retain and make the most of talented employees within each unit of an enterprise has become an important issue. In recent years, more and more companies globally have begun to pay attention to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace with the intention to unlock untapped talent potential, enhance innovation and creativity, improve harmony in the workplace, boost overall performance and enhance their corporate reputations. But has the trend caught on in Taiwan and how is Taiwan performing in DEI? CommonWealth Learning has conducted in-depth surveys for two consecutive years to explore the gap in expectations between talented individuals and the corporations they work for in Taiwan. At this event, our guest speaker will provide an in-depth analysis of the DEI trends in Taiwan and the key actions that need to be taken to retain and attract talent, at same time many practical cases will be shared.
About the FFA
The ECCT’s Family Friendly Alliance (FFA) was established in 2022 as a platform for collaboration among various stakeholders to address the challenges resulting from Taiwan’s low birth-rate and ageing population. Its mission is to cooperate with the government, medical professionals, research institutions, NGOs and other stakeholders to find and promote solutions to support a healthy and sustainable population development, in particular, falling birth rates, an increasingly ageing population, and to create a family friendly environment in Taiwan.
