As countries move toward universal health coverage, they seek practical information on the "how to" of implementing policies that determine who is covered, for what services, and for how much. Finding the most effective way to pay health care providers for priority services is a key area where practical experience on the ground often diverges greatly from theory. How-to knowledge shared across countries can be particularly useful for navigating the day-to-day challenges of provider payment policy change.

There were many questions from the stakeholders and participants on the how-to of implementing Taiwan's global budget system and the results for service quality. This dynamic dialogue will continue on this event: Our guest speaker will provide an overview of the NHIA global budget policies and strategies in line with the goal to maintain system sustainability, public welfare and quality of healthcare, and a forecast of possible healthcare financing in the next few years.

This event will be conducted in Chinese. Moreover, attendees need to get the pass card on 1/F reception hall according to receptionist's instruction at Taipei 101. Please arrive 10 mins earlier.

2. New investments: model for new drug expenditure for the next 5 years
3. The pricing and reimbursement of new drugs and new indications
4. Updated pharmaceutical utilisation and 2016 DET price cuts.
