It will explore what it means to have high levels of sustained well-being, resilience, mental toughness and engagement in the context of change, challenge and opportunity. This includes understanding the power of positivity, the importance of working to your strengths and the key to building high performing teams. It will also focus on the role of leadership, executive and team coaching and how we know it works through the increasing number of empirical coaching studies being undertaken in organisational settings.
Among other topics to be covered include the following:
- What it means to be your optimal best;
- Evidenced-based approaches to increasing and sustaining optimal functioning and well-being at work;
- What coaching is and how we know it works.
The presentation is designed to be engaging and interactive and promises to have an impact on your professional and personal success. There will be time for questions and discussion at the end.
About the speaker
Clive Leach is an evidence-based organisational coach and a graduate of the Master of Organisational Coaching Programme at the University of Sydney's Coaching Psychology Unit. He provides executive, leadership and career coaching within the corporate, government and education sectors. He also designs and facilitates highly regarded workshops focusing on career transitions, employee well-being and engagement and positive education. He is based in Sydney, Australia but is regularly working in South-East Asia, China and the UK. He has also spoken at numerous international conferences on the application of coaching and positive psychology in organisarions.
Clive is a certified Realise2Strengths Practitioner accredited by the UK Centre for Applied Positive Psychology (CAPP) to provide individual and team strengths debriefs. The Realise2 is a world-leading validated strengths assessment tool that is being widely used within the government and corporate sectors to assist in recruitment, leadership development, performance management and team building. He is also certified in Mental Toughness MTQ48 Assessment.
