The world's economy is undergoing significant challenges that are deeply unsettling for most businesses. This has created an urgent imperative to adjust to the new realities of changing business models. This was highlighted in the recent 2017 Morgan Philips Talent Report. Employers in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan were asked the question "What top talent or skill will your company need to succeed in 2017?" with the top answers across the board being "Change management skills, entrepreneurial minds and competitiveness."Morgan Philips Executive Search also partnered with Assessfirst to drill a level deeper into the motivations of talented Asians, their preferred activities, the leadership style that suits them and the work culture that allows them to blossom. 44% of respondents voiced their preference for employers with a competitive work culture and directive leadership style. 27% said that they blossom in an innovative environment and only 17% in a collaborative culture.

At this event Christine Raynaud will introduce the key characteristics of change agents, what are the warning signs for those who oppose change and how they can ask target questions to uncover these characteristics.

Christine Raynaud is the CEO of Morgan Philips Executive Search, one of the most well-established recruitment firms in mainland China and in Asia. Raynaud has gained more than 25 years of experience in search, recruitment and staffing, drawing on knowledge gained through leading HR services businesses in over 21 international markets. Raynaud is a graduate of HEC Paris with a career that includes roles with recruitment industry leaders such as Hudson, Manpower Inc, and Adecco.
 

James Li is the Managing Director of Cabot Microelectronics Corporation in Taiwan, a NASDAQ-listed polishing materials company that supplies to electronics and semiconductor industries. Prior to his current position, he built up more than 15 years of legal experience in both private practice and in-house positions with Baker McKenzie, Lite-On Technology and One-Red/Philips. He is a graduate of Cornell University (Bachelor of Science with Honours) and the University of Pittsburgh (Jurist Doctor and Master of Business Administration). He has been admitted to the New York State Bar.
