The ECCT & EUTW Circular Economy Forum has been arranged to advance industrial circularity in Taiwan, focusing on the critical importance of resource efficiency and waste reduction in the industrial sector. The forum, part of our annual circular economy series, builds on the foundation laid by the “Towards Sustainable Supply Chain” luncheon held on 18 April, which explored sustainable design principles within global supply chains.
This October forum aims to deepen the dialogue by shifting the focus to industrial applications, examining how innovative technologies, best practices, and policy frameworks can be leveraged to accelerate Taiwan's transition towards a circular economy. By bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and sustainability experts, the forum will highlight successful case studies and foster collaboration to overcome challenges in industrial circularity. Participants will gain insights into how the integration of circular practices within industries can not only enhance environmental outcomes but also drive economic growth and innovation, aligning with Taiwan's broader sustainability goals.
