This seminar has been arranged to address the pressing need for sustainability in aviation, with a particular focus on the role of hydrogen in decarbonizing the industry and increasing the sustainability and operational efficiency within airport facilities. By showcasing best practices and initiatives in sustainable aviation, the seminar aims to contribute to the ongoing discourse surrounding environmental responsibility and the transition towards more sustainable and eco-friendly aviation practices.

At the event, a representative from the Taoyuan International Airport Corporation (TIAC) will give a presentation on advancing sustainable aviation at TTIA. In addition, ECCT speakers will discuss the role of hydrogen in decarbonizing aviation, solutions for achieving carbon neutrality within airports, focusing on reducing emissions, energy efficiency, circular lighting, waste management and biodiversity conservation. Speakers will also share collaborative experiences from Incheon airport in Seoul, South Korea and Schiphol airport in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
