Luxury goods and retail operators in Taiwan are vulnerable to intellectual property rights infringements but may not be familiar with the procedures they should take to protect themselves and what action to take when an infringement occurs.

At this event our speaker will share IPR related protection procedures, local regulations, and practices from a legal perspective to luxury goods and retail business operators invested in Taiwan.

Among other topics she will discuss:

• How to register brands and core logos in Taiwan
• Introduction of general enforcement procedures
• How to leverage support from Taiwan authorities
• Practical tips on how to enhance brand protection in Taiwan.

About the speaker 

Monica is an experienced IP lawyer who has assisted clients with a vast array of IP litigation, especially in the luxury goods, high-tech and consumer goods. Her practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property matters, including trademark, copyright and competition litigations, licensing and prosecution matters and also covers brand protection, brand enforcement and new IP Tech issues.

This event will be conducted in Mandarin.
