For the past 10 years, we have been learning how to do digital marketing. But the digital marketplace is becoming more and more diverse. Now we have to learn how to do marketing successfully in such a turbulent environment.

Our guest speaker will answer questions about the necessity for a comprehensive digital strategy in any organization, its main components, rules of implementation, the obstacles companies face and why they fail in the digital marketplace. The presentation will also look at future trends in digital marketing and technology.

About the speaker

Martin Hiesboeck is a 20-year veteran in Asia's branding and marketing scene. He is the former deputy director of the Austrian Commercial Office and now a senior consultant and Director of Digital Marketing at Geber Consulting, one of Taiwan's leading brand internationalization agencies. He has helped hundreds of companies create and manage their brands, develop sales channels and launch successful integrated digital marketing strategies. He also trains employees at multinational companies in the art of doing business in Taiwan and teaches courses in marketing and digital strategy at various universities around Taiwan. His often humorous insights are the results of many years of experience bringing foreign companies into the Taiwan marketplace and helping Taiwanese companies to internationalize. Martin Hiesboeck is a graduate of National Taiwan Normal University's Chinese linguistics programme and National Taiwan University's College of Business.
