Although growth in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) across all world markets has cooled down in the past few years, Kantar Worldpanel has witnessed a shift in Asia's unique competitive landscape. That is, local brands in Asia have gained ground over global brands and are growing at a much faster pace.

Kantar Worldpanel's Asian Brand Power 2015 report is the first publication to chart this shift, telling the fascinating stories of local industries' transformation and revealing their roadmaps for future success.

At this event our guest speaker will share the uplifting and inspiring stories which single out the five ‘power levers' driving the growth of the region's dominant players, as well as draw up a ‘masterbrand manifesto' for ambitious companies.

About the speaker

Marcy Kou is the CEO of Kantar Worldpanel Asia and has been a member of the Global Worldpanel's board since 2005. She is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in the market research business and a recognized expert in market analytics related to retail measurement, FMCG-focused consumer panels, trade development and consumer trends in the Asian region.

Kou began her syndicated research profession in 1992. A true pioneer, she helped to set up the first consumer panel in Asia, and the coverage quickly expanded and now has offices in eight countries and over 25 different panels across Asia. Kantar Worldpanel is now a leading solution provider in behaviour-based shopping and consumption trends in every market.

Kantar is the data investment management arm of the WPP group.
