The ECCT's 2017 Gala Ball invites you to experience the Roaring 1920s.

Join us to celebrate a golden decade of economic prosperity and cultural dynamism.

The 1920s was a time when Jazz music came of age in America and Europe. Dance clubs thrived and the Charleston became one of the most popular dance hits of the decade.

Art Deco influenced the design of buildings, furniture, jewellery, fashion, cars, movie theatres, trains, ocean liners, and everyday objects such as radios and vacuum cleaners.

Car ownership rose and driving for pleasure became a popular pastime. There was a large-scale increase in the use of telephones, motion pictures, radio and electric appliances. Air travel became a business.

As in previous years, this year's ball will include popular and exciting features including: gaming for chocolate euros, make-up counters and the Taiwan Tattler Magazine photo booth to make everyone a celebrity for the night.

With an exceptional line-up of entertainment, music, wining and dining, it promises to be an exciting evening.
