As Taiwan continues its journey towards net zero, the Ministry of Environment plays a crucial role in promoting a circular economy and carbon reduction policies and incentives, which are essential for shaping effective environmental policies. This approach seeks not only to minimize waste and promote resource efficiency but also to create economic opportunities while addressing climate change. At this event, our guest speaker will provide an update on the MOENV’s policies and plans to advance Taiwan’s progress towards a circular net zero economy, including the introduction of carbon fees, highlighting the importance of collaboration among government, industry, and communities in achieving a greener and more resilient economy.
