In recent years, amid trade tensions between the United States and China and the global reshuffling of supply chains, Taiwan has emerged as a focal point of international attention, drawing in major corporations. According to the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the three significant investment initiatives launched since 2019 have attracted over NT$2.17 trillion in investments within just four years, generating more than 149,000 job opportunities domestically. Furthermore, prominent technology firms like Nvidia and AMD have opted to establish logistics centres in Taiwan, showcasing Taiwan's prowess in attracting foreign investment amidst global supply chain transformations.
This event aims to offer insights from the Ministry of Economic Affairs to gain a deeper understanding of the evolution of global supply chains and analyse Taiwan's crucial position amid these changes. Our guest speaker will share her views on nurturing collaboration within the supply chain, and empowering Taiwan to sustain its significant role in the global economy.
