Robert Walters will soon be releasing its 2023 Salary Survey, which for more than 20 years, employers and professionals have relied on to help them make critical decisions for their businesses and careers. In addition to a comprehensive guide to salaries for hundreds of roles in 31 countries, the new digital Salary Survey offers insights on the latest hiring trends and analysis of key industries, as well as video updates on market conditions from its experts.

At this event, the first release of the survey results to the public, our guest speaker will give an overview and key insights from the survey into the latest recruitment and salary trends in Taiwan. Among other subjects, he will provide insights on:

• Major hiring trends across industries and functions in Taiwan
• The challenges employers are facing amid post-pandemic realities and uncertainties
• Why and how companies should build a sustainable workforce
• The importance and advice of skill-first strategy, maintaining productivity in the future workforce, and creating a humanistic culture

About the speaker
John Winter is the Country Manager of Robert Walters Taiwan. He began his career in recruitment 15 years ago, initially in the UK before moving to Asia in 2010. He spent over three years in Singapore, running several teams that recruited primarily for financial services clients before he joined Robert Walters as the Country Manager of Taiwan at the end of 2013. Since his arrival 10 years ago, he has expanded the business coverage significantly. 2021 marked the 10-year anniversary since the office first opened in Taipei. As well as recruitment, John is an active member with several chambers in Taiwan. Robert Walters is a main sponsor of Women in Business
initiatives and John has previously served on the board of the European Chamber of Commerce Taiwan for three years.
