ECCT members and guests are kindly invited to attend a Wine Tasting Dinner at the Mandarin Oriental Taipei's Bencotto restaurant, featuring Michelin Star-quality cuisine and fine wines.

Guests will be seated in the private dining room of the restaurant and will sample a customised menu of dishes prepared by the Michelin-starred Italian chef de cuisine Mario Cittadini that are not available on the a la carte menu.

About Bencotto at the Mandarin Oriental Taipei
Bencotto embodies a rustic elegance with a warm, relaxed atmosphere, reviving the relaxed old-school Renaissance charm of Rome's Antico Caffe Grecco. Bencotto is under the supervision of the Michelin-starred Italian chef Mario Cittadini, who has demonstrated his passion working in award-winning restaurants around the world including in New York, Spain and Italy. His own restaurant, Il Postale, was honoured with a Michelin star.

In Bencotto's open kitchen, chefs use only the freshest ingredients to prepare authentic cuisine and are highly committed to using organic, seasonal produce whenever possible. Accompanying the restaurant's enticing menu is a wide range of acclaimed wines selected by the top sommeliers in town.

Come and join us to sample some choice wines as well as great quality cuisine prepared by chef Mario and his enthusiastic culinary team.

The evening will be hosted by the skilled wine sommelier Mr Alex Tsai, the resident sommelier at Bencotto who holds the WSET Level 3 (advanced) award and was the semi-finalist of the SOPEXA Asia-Oceania Best Sommelier Competition 2015.
