Topics about the smart workplace are blossoming these days. Building a smart workplace seems to be an unstoppable trend, but building a smart workplace that bridges the gap between employee and employer expectations is a two-sided coin when implementing a smart workplace.

At this seminar, our speaker will share the reasons for building a smart workplace and identify the gap between employers and employees in certain areas, such as, advancing technology experience and applying workplace flexibility, which may lead to challenges when implementing a smart workplace. He will offer recommendations to address the challenges. Finally, he will highlight the advantages that smart workplaces will provide for the future workforce, for example, in attracting the best talent, promoting workforce diversity and enhancing employee engagement.

About the speaker
John Winter is currently the General Manager of Robert Walters Taiwan. He is also a board director of the ECCT. He has over 13 years of experience in recruitment field. Prior moving to Taiwan, he worked in Singapore for another international recruitment business, starting and managing several teams within the financial services sector, including risk, compliance, legal and technology. He graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in economics and social history.
