The OECD announced action plans for dealing with Base Erosion and Profit Shifting ("BEPS") in July 2013 in response to growing concerns among OECD and non-OECD countries alike about the risks to tax revenues, tax sovereignty and tax fairness that BEPS behaviors pose, in particular when these results lead to unanticipated double non-taxation. There are 15 actions in total, of which six actions need to be completed by September 2014, and the remaining actions need to be completed by September or December 2015.
As a follow-up to the Tax committee's Special Luncheon held on 12 September 2013 to provide an overview of BEPS action plans, this event has been arranged to provide an update and outlook of OECD BEPS action plans from both Taiwanese and European perspectives. The special guest speakers will give presentations on the following topics during the lunch:

- The Taiwan government's project in response to BEPS;
