2014 ECCT Gala Ball - An Evening on Mount Olympus

This year's ECCT Gala Ball celebrates the rich mythical and cultural heritage and enduring contribution that Greece has left for Europe and the world. From the mythical residence of the 12 Olympians or Greek Gods on Mount Olympus to the real archeological splendour of the Acropolis to the literary contribution of poets such as Homer, philosphers from Socrates to Plato to Aristotle and the birth place of democracy, to name just a few, the contribution of Greece and Greeks to European civilisation is extraordinary.

Everything about the evening, from the decor to the entertainment will aim to capture some of the magic of ancient Greece, both mythical and histrorical. Guests are encouraged to dress the part either by wearing accessories with a Greek theme or go all out and come dressed as your favourite Greek poet, philosoper or God – Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Hermes, Hestia, Dionysus, Hades or Persephone.

Come and join us for an evening of exciting and colourful performances, lively music and exquisite cuisine. The menu and beverages will have a Greek inspired theme. Dinner will be served and enjoyed at a quiet, leisurely pace before guests hit the dance floor for dancing.

As in previous years, this year's ball will include popular and exciting features including: gaming for chocolate euros, make-up counters and the Taiwan Tatler Magazine photo booth to make everyone a celebrity for the night.

With an exceptional line-up of entertainment, music, wining and dining, it promises to be an exciting evening.
