GIS Taiwan 2019 is the first international official student forum in Taiwan that aims to gather young adults worldwide to discuss international issues and devise possible essays or action projects for the goal to produce a practical action project. Around 250 college and high school students will gather together to share and discuss their viewpoints toward the global issues nowadays in this four-day forum.

As the ECCT Low Carbon Initiative serves the supporting organisation to the GIS Taiwan 2019, the ECCT Chairman Giuseppe Izzo and LCI Steering Committee Bart Linssen will give their speeches in the opening ceremony.  The LCI's members, including STMicroelectronics, Enercon, Siemens Taiwan, KPMG Sustainability Consulting Corporation, and PwC are also invited as the speakers of Keynote Speech and Leader Dialogue to discuss international issues and action projects with 250 students from all over the world.
