SMART ASIA Taiwan 2018 in Taichung

With the resounding success of SMART AISA India, TAITRA will launch SMART ASIA Taiwan in 2018. The trade show will serve as a platform connecting city policymakers and solutions providers.

Supported by Taichung City Government, ECCT's Low Carbon Initiative (LCI) and organized by TAITRA, SMART ASIA Taiwan will take place July 26-28, 2018 at Taichung International Exhibition Center (TCIEC), displaying smart city solutions  and technologies that help cities manage their development plans and services more effectively and efficiently.

SMART ASIA Taiwan aims at generating business opportunities for relevant stakeholders, boosting growth and development of related industries, as well as promoting the smart city concept as a way of life in the future. Along with the 3-day show, there will also be Smart City Forums focusing on 5 main themes: Smart Manufacturing, Smart Energy, Smart Transportation, Smart Buildings, and Smart Health Care. Government officials and industry leaders are invited to explore the challenges and opportunities of smart city development.

On 26 July, Taichung City Mayor Lin Chia-Lung, TAITRA's Vice Chairman Chuang Suo-Hang, and ECCT's Vice Chairman Giuseppe Izzo will together open the show, four LCI members: ENERCON, PwC, SIEMENS, and thyssenkrupp speak with Taichung Gov.
