This year, many human activities are forced to stop due to the pandemic, which has surprisingly given the earth a break! Greenhouse gas emission has declined, giving animals better living environment. Meanwhile, people also start to think about the importance and urgency of environmental sustainability!
The Ministry of Science and Technology Center for Global Affairs and Science Engagement (MOST GASE) invited Dr. Jane Goodall, the United Nations Messenger of Peace and Laureates of Tang Prize in Sustainable Development, to be the speaker of the Four Seasons Speeches - Winter. The event will be held at the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum in Chiayi. Dr. Jane Goodall will share her journey to become the advocate of animal conservation and her experiences of environmental education with participants online.
MOST GASE also organized a pre-speech panel discussion by inviting environmental activists from the industry, government, and academia to talk about social sustainable responsibility!
Meanwhile, our partner - Carrefour Taiwan, has curated a special exhibition on sustainability at the venue. Participants will have a chance to understand the importance of sustainability through their five senses. Last but not least! Participants are welcomed to submit their thoughts and learnings during the speech, you might have a chance to receive special gifts from Dr. Jane Goodall!!

科技部全球事務與科學發展中心 (MOST GASE)【四季講堂-冬季場】邀請聯合國和平使者、英國女爵士，亦是2020年唐獎永續發展獎得主—珍古德博士（Dr. Jane Goodall）擔任專題演講主講者，分享她推動野生動物保育和環境教育的心路歷程，以及走遍世界演講時的所見所聞。本次活動移師到嘉義「國立故宮博物院南部院區」，也是MOST GASE四季講堂舉辦以來，首次以「視訊連線」的方式進行專題演講和現場互動問答。
同場加映！MOST GASE將邀請臺灣產、官、學界的在環境保護及動物友善等永續重要推手，進行一場精彩的永續理念思辨的現場座談會—「他們與環境永續的距離」，黃金陣容令人精彩可期！
