Following the successful 2022 Sustainable Smart City Forum, Hualien Magistrate Hsu Chen-wei (花蓮縣徐榛蔚縣長) cordially invites the ECCT LCI members to participate in the 2023 Hualien Sustainable Investment Visits and Smart City Forum taking place respectively on 7 September at Taiwan Cement, and Chung Hua Pulp Corp. 九月七日參訪台泥及中華紙漿, and on 8 September at the Fullon Hotel Hualien 九月八日於花蓮福容大飯店舉辦論壇.

The two-day event aims to create a platform for exploring sustainable investment opportunities in Hualien and creating collaboration partnerships between Hualien local industries and the ECCT LCI member companies. On 7 Sept., Dr. Kirk Hwang, Chairman of Chung Hua Pulp Corporation (中華紙漿董事長黃鯤雄), Shelly Yeh, Vice President & CSO of Taiwan Cement’s Office of Responsibility and Sustainability (台泥永續長葉毓君) and their executive teams will receive the LCI members upon their visit to the two companies. The members who join the site visits will be invited to the welcome dinner hosted by Hualien Magistrate Hsu Chen-wei (花蓮縣縣長徐榛蔚).

On 8 Sept. at the forum, many distinguished corporate leaders will be present to share their endeavors and solutions for renewable purchase, sustainable recycling innovations, carbon neutrality strategies, and digital technology at this forum, including Dr. Kirk Hwang, Chairman of Chung Hua Pulp Corp. (中華紙漿董事長黃鯤雄), Shelly Yeh,  Vice President＆CSO of Taiwan Cement Office of Responsibility and Sustainability (台泥永續長葉毓君), Marilyn Su, Chief Sustainability Officer＆Foundation Executive Chief of Carrefour (家樂福永續長暨基金會執行長蘇小真), Shian Chuang, IKEA North Asia Sourcing Manager (宜家家居北亞區供應商開發經理莊芷菱), Phoebe Hsiao, Sustainability Manager of Uniqlo Taiwan (優衣庫永續經理蕭斐璠), Van Hoang, Chairman and CEO of Baseload Power Taiwan (倍速羅得公司董事長兼執行長黃天德), Bart Linssen, Managing Director of ENERCON Taiwan (德國艾納康公司董事總經理黎森), Peter Hu, Executive Deputy General Manager of FETnet (遠傳電信執行副總胡德民), and Nicole Zhan, Deputy Chairwoman of DTA (數位經濟暨產業發展協會副理事長詹婷怡).
