The ECCT’s Low Carbon Initiative (LCI) together with PwC is hosting the “Localization Challenges & Opportunities of Offshore Wind 3.2 Forum” taking place on Tuesday 21 Nov., 14:00-17:00, at Grand Hyatt Taipei.

While five OFW developers signed off for Taiwan’s Round 3.1 in late August 2023, it is crucial if Taiwan can continue the momentum of attracting more investments for Round 3.2 to ensure reaching the 20% renewable supply target set by 2025. The ECCT’s Low Carbon Initiative (LCI) is therefore partnering with PwC to arrange this forum, which will bring together key stakeholders from the government, offshore wind industry developers, and suppliers to talk about several factors in OFW development, including policies and OFW localisation. At the event, experts will share and discuss their experiences with other stakeholders in order to provide more detailed information on various regulatory issues and share their perspectives based on practices in the industry.
