Daimler Trucks Asia Taiwan Ltd. (DTAT) - A joint venture between Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) and Shung Ye Trading Co., (SYC), a leading player in the Taiwanese commercial vehicles market, was established in July 2016.

DTAT is responsible for the exclusive import and wholesale businesses for the full range of FUSO products including light-, medium-, heavy-duty trucks, and light- and medium-duty buses.   

The retail sales business for FUSO vehicles in Taiwan continues to be operated by Yue Yu Motors Corporation (YYC) through its network of 40 sales and service outlets.  In addition to that, FUSO light-duty trucks continue to be serviced through more than 100 outlets across Taiwan. 

The local assembly of FUSO heavy-duty trucks and medium-duty buses continues through MFTB Taiwan - another joint venture between SYC and MFTBC, and the assembly for light-and medium-duty trucks continues to be handled by China Motor Corporation (CMC).

FUSO is an integral part of Daimler AG, one of the world’s most successful automotive companies. Since 1958, FUSO products have been sold in Taiwan and FUSO has remained as the top selling vehicle in Taiwan for 25 years since 1992.  DTAT will continue to introduce new vehicle models and enhance current vehicle performance to provide customers with rewarding experience and strengthen FUSO’s dominant position in Taiwan. 

DTAT has a strong commitment to the Taiwanese society not only in the areas of providing advanced products, but also the various actions on social responsibility:
The sponsorship of free highway vehicle inspections for dealers to collect and analysis vehicle usage data in order to increase awareness of drivers in correct maintenance practices and safety contributing to decreasing the number of accidents.

The launch of roadshow to promote career programs across Taiwan with the aim of nurturing local talents.

The launch of aid program where FUSO trucks would be provided for relief aid after natural disasters.
