In the face of changing demographics, globalization, rapid urbanization and the consequent climate change, the leaders and governments worldwide are facing drastic challenges to shape a low carbon and sustainable future. A holistic approach and actions are needed to reduce carbon emissions and achieve sustainability. This requires the joint efforts of government and industry.

The Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs (IDIA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs is set to become an important foreign policy think tank and cradle for nurturing future diplomats and leaders who are required to possess a new vision and comprehensive knowledge for the future that takes into account Taiwan's needs. As such, the ECCT LCI will work with IDIA of MOFA from March to June (1st phase) in 2014 to facilitate the Green Leadership Forum keynoted by the CEOs from ECCT LCI member companies, sharing the global leaders' vision and strategies on mapping and building a sustainable environment with green technologies and solutions.
