A 13-member ECCT delegation of directors, staff and committee chairpersons led by Chairman H Henry Chang and CEO Freddie Höglund held the first in a series of three meetings with the National Development Council (NDC) to discuss the government’s official reply to the chamber’s 2021 Position Papers, which were released in November 2020. The meeting was led by NDC Minister Kung Ming-hsin and attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Environmental Protection Administration, the Ministry of Labour and the NDC’s Department of Human Resources Development.

ECCT committee chairpersons represented were Lin Chih-chen, from the Wind Energy Committee; Jules Chuang (Energy & Environment); Teoh Tze-ping (Electrical Engineering & Equipment); Mathias Busse (Mobility); Tim Berge and Mike Jewell (Better Living) and Howard Shiu (Human Resources).
