European Union Centre in Taiwan (EUTW)
We at the LCI are happy to present the European Union Centre in Taiwan (EUTW). The EUTW was formally inaugurated on May 22nd, 2009. The centre was formed with a mandate from the European Union and not only acts as a platform for exchanges and cooperation within Taiwan, but also creates linkages among other such centres to establish global and regional networks to support studies of the European Union(EU), as well as global academic or civil society exchanges and cooperation with the EU
The EUTW Forum on Environment and Science is a joint effort between EUTW and the National Applied Research Laboratories. The forum is held in collaboration with leading institutions in different scientific fields since 2015. It hopes to bring together industrial and academic experts to enhance scientific exchange and strengthen the local tech industry in Taiwan. Topics focus on specific technology or research, such as "Soil and Water Conservation and Resource Recovery", "Smart City", "5G Technology", "Smart Mobility and Sustainable Development" and "Green Building".
