The LCI wishes to introduce the French Office in Taipei, our 33rd member. The LCI now has five trade office members including British Office, European Economic Trade Offce (EETO), French Office, German Institute, and German Trade Office.

The office headed since September 2015 by M. Benoit Guidee, is dedicated to facilitate and promote exchanges between France and Taiwan, including in all relevant economic, cultural, educational and scientific sectors. France is clearly engaged in collaborating with Taiwan on its transition towards low-carbon and resilient economy. Green economy constitutes therefore a major priority of the French Office's actions, involving several Departments - in particular the Economic Dpt, the Cultural and Scientific Department and the Trade Dpt – and the French community in Taiwan more generally, in partnership with relevant Taiwanese authorities, companies and organizations.
