The Agro-Chemical committee aims to promote and advocate approaches that enhance sustainable agriculture in the interests of farmers, governments, consumers and the environment. This is done through collaboration with relevant industries, academic institutions, authorities and consumers to ensure food security, protection of the environment and safeguards to the health of farmers. The committee assists the authorities by recommending reasonable, workable and sustainable regulations in line with international best practices and supports committee members to protect their intellectual property rights and to maintain innovation momentum in the development of Taiwan's agricultural market.
