The ECCT is committed to improving the quality of life in Taiwan for all members of the community. The Better Living committee actively promotes solutions, and advocates for these at both the local and central government levels. Over the years, major successes have been achieved to make Taiwan more welcoming, fair and safer. Issues include residency status, work permits, health benefits, traffic safety, and improving Taiwan's English language environment.
