The Medical Device Committee seeks to ensure an open, transparent, and competitive legal, regulatory, and commercial environment in Taiwan to import, export, manufacture, distribute, sell and develop medical devices.
The committee seeks to provide representation and address the issues facing members engaged in the medical device industry. The committee works with stakeholders and the government to address the challenges of getting medical devices approved and into the market, fair healthcare policy to ensure an open and competitive market for members' products once approved, and to proactively work to ensure that the regulatory and NHIA policy environment keeps pace with the rapidly-changing nature of devices being developed.
