Taipei Vision: Developing towards a Circular Economy 台北願景:走向循環經濟

The 2018 TAIPEI Circular City Int'l Forum was facilitated by Global View Monthly 遠見天下, supported by the ECCT Low Carbon Initiative (LCI), and hosted by Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je and the Taipei City Government. Held on 2 July, at the Regent Hotel Taipei, the forum's four session topics were: "circular city," "waste to resource," "new biz models," and "circular building". Each of the respective forums were chaired by Taipei Deputy Mayor Charles Lin and three Commissioners from Environment Protection Bureau, Economic Development Bureau, and Urban Development Bureau, lead productive discussions with all expert speakers on the possibilities of developing Taipei towards a circular city for better living and greener business. The LCI speaker who participated in the forum sessions was Eric Yu, General Manager of Philips Lighting.
