A "Floating Wind Policy and Technology" workshop co-organized by Taipower Research Institute (TPRI) and the ECCT's Low Carbon Initiative (LCI) was held on 25 July, attended over 90 executives, colleagues, and members from Taipower and ECCT. In the forum, 6 expert speakers from Bureau of Energy, National Taiwan University, Bureau Veritas, BlueFloat Energy, Taiwan Int'l Ports Corp., and EDF Renewables shared their expertise and insights on offshore floating wind domain. The workshop was greatly supported by the MOEA and the BOE.  Opening remarks were respectively given by Mr. Wu Chih-Wei, Counselor of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (經濟部參事 吳志偉), Mr. Giuseppe Izzo, Vice Chair of LCI (歐洲商會-低碳倡議行動副主席 尹容), and Dr. Chung Nien-Mien, General Manager of the Taiwan Power Research Institute (台電綜合研究所所長 鍾年勉).
