The director of the Department of International Affairs, Kevin C. F. Lin stated that he looks forward to expanding the influence of parliamentary diplomacy further through the newly established International Affairs Office in the Legislative Yuan. This expansion aims to enhance the impact of parliamentary diplomacy, promote international support for Taiwan, and provide a deeper global understanding of Taiwan's democratic values.

The ECCT delegation expressed its willingness to assist in hosting European visitors to Taiwan, facilitating a more in-depth understanding of the island. Such exchanges underscore Taiwan's significance on the international stage and lay a solid foundation for the future development of parliamentary diplomacy.
